CHANGE MODULES
ACTIONS TO TAKE…
WHAT ARE CHANGE MODULES?
Climate action and change towards more sustainability is urgent and necessary in many areas of our lives. To help the Change Clubs and their participants in addressing the different areas, we are offering a series of “Change Modules” with information and recommendations where action for change is most relevant.
The modules have been prepared using latest scientific information. Each module explains why the area is important, 3 actions that have the biggest impact, 3 easy-to-do steps, fun tips as well as the SDGs being addressed. All modules also provide additional resources and links to more information and tips.
Each Club is invited to use the Change Modules for inspiration and guidance. We recommend that Clubs move through the modules in the order as below – Diet, Mobility, Energy, Housing, Biodiversity and Nature, Waste, Lifestyle, Finance, and Go Beyond, – and focus on each module for at least one month so that participants can achieve changes collaboratively in each area. By covering the different modules, members can sustainably change their lives in a comprehensive and impactful way, over the course of a year.
The Change Modules are framed within the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) – with climate and environmental protection at the centre, while highlighting co-benefits for other SDGs.

We must change how we live. Not only in politics and the economy, but also personally. Doing it alone is difficult. That is why I suggest creating Clubs, in which people can learn from each other and help one another to change their lives. There one would get recommendations for delicious vegetarian recipes, fairly traded textile brands, some would share their experiences with carsharing, others about how to grow vegetables on your roof, another would know a great way to reuse rainwater, and so on. The Clubs would work following the Weight Watchers principles: Motivation and exchange of experiences. Working title: Change Clubs.
